Triclopyr is a systemic, foliar herbicide in the pyridine group. It is used to control broadleaf weeds while leaving grasses and conifers unaffected.
Triclopyr is effective on woody plants and is used for brush control in rights of way and defoliation of wooded areas.
It is used to produce an excess of nucleic acid, which can cause some tissuesto be changed into meristem, causing the leaf, stem and root of the plant to bedeformed. Used in the afforestation, the maintenance of fire protection, the improvement of the pine and the forest stand.
